Newcastle Racecourse holds 31 race meetings (fixture list) in 2010, spanning both the Flat & National Hunt Seasons. The beautiful 812 acre High Gosforth Park estate is also home to Parklands Golf for All complex (golf course), superb conference & banqueting facilities , a public house and extensive woodland walks.

- Saturday 20th March: GUINNESS St Patrick's Day: there's always a great atmosphere on St Patrick's weekend, with the party continuing after racing with live Irish music in the bar. - Thursday - Saturday - the 3 day Northumberland Plate Festival: This is the highlight of the racing calendar at Newcastle. - Saturday July 24th: Beeswing Ladies Day: this is possibly the most glamorous occasion of the year! With fantastic prizes for the best dressed ladies, this event has the most attractive crowd in the North East. The Champagne and Pimms will be flowing - and it's a great excuse for the gentlemen to dress up too! 2009 was a complete sell out so be sure to book early to avoid missing out. - Friday 27th August: Beer & Curry Racenight: this early evening race meeting provides an excellent start to the bank holiday weekend: the Beer & Curry Premier Special at just £22.50 includes Premier Badge, free pint of ale/lager, portion of curry/rice, tote betting vouchers worth up to £10. - Family Fun Days - we have 4 racemeetings in the summer holidays and two new Sunday fixtures - a raceday is a great value family day out. Our Family Special Grandstand & Paddock ticket is only £20 for 2 adults and up to 6 children. Children's entertainment available on selected days. Picnics welcome for lunch in the paddock (no alcohol)
- Saturday 27th November: the WBX.COM Fighting Fifth Hurdle: this is the highlight of the jumps season with champion horses and jockeys from all over the UK and Irelands travelling to take part. It's the first leg of the WBX Hurdling Triple Crown and the £1million bonus to the winning stable.
