Impact of Government announcement (14th June)

Following the government announcing that current rules on social distancing and capacity restrictions remain in place until Monday 19th July, our upcoming William Hill Northumberland Plate Day fixture on Saturday 26th June has been impacted and unfortunately some customers will have their tickets cancelled in order to remain within these limits.

With social distancing measures still in place, we are still able to welcome a reduced number of racegoers to our fixtures. This is currently a maximum of up to 4,000 to allow for social distancing.

William Hill Northumberland Plate Day - Saturday 26th June

The good news is that that the prestigious William Hill Northumberland Plate Day can still take place with racegoers, although capacity will be restricted to 4,000.  In order for us to remain within these limits, we’ve had to allocate existing ticket bookings on a first-come, first-served basis until attendance reaches the permitted capacity.

We are currently contacting all customers with a ticket booking to confirm whether their booking is still confirmed or has had to be cancelled. All customers will have received an email by Tuesday 22nd June. Please make sure you've checked your junk/spam filter in your email.

In light of the Government’s announcement, some restrictions and changes to our schedule have also had to be made. With restrictions still in place, DJ Judge Jules is now unable to perform after racing. To find out what to expect during your visit, please click here.

As part of our Book With Confidence promise, any customer who is now unable to attend and has had their ticket cancelled, will receive an automatic Credit Voucher that can be used as full or part payment for any fixture, including Northumberland Plate Festival in 2022 as well as other fantastic fixtures such as music nights and fun-filled themed fixtures with extra entertainment. They will also be able to request a full refund. Full details will be sent to all impacted customers via email by Monday 22nd June.
