There are a multitude of ways to travel to Newcastle Racecourse. When we asked Mike Parcej, a friend of the racecourse and passionate horse racing fan, here's what he had to say:

"Easy to get to from London and the South West/Midlands by train. The bus services are relentless seven days a week. The X15, X22, X21, X11, 43 and 44 services all run from Haymarket bus station, and the X18 from Eldon Square bus station. The landmark to look out for on the old A1 is when the bus leaves the dual carriageway and crosses over it on a bridge from left to right. It's the next bus stop after the crossing. Enjoy!!"
