23/11: Following the latest Government update, we look forward to the opportunity to welcome spectators back to ARC venues as soon as possible.
We await further information regarding specific details and will offer a further update in due course.
With areas of the country experiencing different restrictions, dependant on the government's tiered approach to combat Covid-19 transmissions, we ask all owners to check our news page where the latest information on any enhanced measures at Newcastle Racecourse will be available.
Owners will be asked to comply with all the local restrictions in place when visiting and those planning on attending Newcastle Racecourse do so in accordance with the latest guidelines for their area.
Newcastle Racecourse is committed to providing a high level of service to Owners & Trainers, through the Arena Racing Company (ARC) Owners & Trainers Policy. As we welcome back owners to watch their horses compete 'behind closed doors', the experience that we are able to offer you will be a little different from usual. We like to extend our thanks for your on-going support during this time and hope to be able to get back to a new 'normal' soon.
We are currently able to offer owners with a declared runner up to two complimentary tickets to attend to watch their horse race at Newcastle Racecourse.
We will of course accept requests for additional badges if we have the space to accommodate this in accordance with the reduced capacities currently allowed in our Owners facility.
All owners should request badges via the PASS system and must bring a copy of their identification with them.
Food & Drink
We are pleased to still be able to offer our owners a complimentary light lunch, served in our dedicated Owners & Trainers Bar & Restaurant.
All food and drinks will be table service to comply with the latest government guidelines. A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available for you to enjoy.
Owners can enter Newcastle Racecourse to enjoy as much or as little as the fixture as they wish. We'd suggest leaving up to 45 minutes to enter the racecourse via the new entry process. Please be aware that your temperature may be checked on arrival.
As per recent government guidelines, all Owners attending Newcastle Racecourse will be required to register for NHS's Track & Trace.
QR codes will be prominently displayed at the entrance to Newcastle Visitors will be able to use their smartphone to scan the code. This will link to the appropriate NHS site where they will be required to enter their details and receive relevant updates.
