We aim to provide an accessible and easy environment for all of our guests. From accessible parking near the turnstiles to free tickets for personal assistants of paying guests with accessible needs, we try to make a day out at Newcastle Racecourse as easy as possible.

We welcome mobility scooters and chairs, although we do ask visitors to be mindful of other guests.
Registered guide dogs, hearing dogs and medical alert dogs are welcome on-site. Please ensure they are always kept on the lead. We provide water bowls at the Border Minstrel Pub located next to the Brandling House Entrance.
All racecourse staff are on hand to offer assistance before and during your visit. Please speak to one of our stewards or security team if you need assistance on the day or alternatively, if you are able to, you can come to the Racecourse Office which is opposite the Owners and Trainers car park.

Personal assistants receive free admission to the racecourse when accompanying a paying guest with accessibility needs.
Please email info@newcastle-racecourse.co.uk at least 24 hours in advance with your name and details of the fixture you wish to attend to arrange these tickets, which are subject to availability. For more information and to check terms and conditions please click here.
Personal Assistant tickets can be claimed by bringing in proof of accessible needs on the day of racing e.g. Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Attendance Allowance (AA) or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP). Personal Assistant Tickets will be available to collect from the entrance on arrival. Please note, you must provide supporting documentation.
Personal Assistants will receive free admission to the racecourse when accompanying a paying guest with accessible needs.
Personal Assistant tickets can be claimed by bringing in proof of accessible needs on the day of racing e.g. a Blue Badge (with accompanying photo ID), Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID). You will need to buy a full price ticket first either online or on the day and then speak to a member of staff on the turnstiles about claiming your free personal assistant badge.
