Newcastle Racecourse is one of the busiest racecourses in the UK, hosting more than 80 all-weather and jump fixtures each year.
A Grade 1 National Hunt track, it also boasts an all-weather Tapeta flat track on the outside of the jumps track - currently the only floodlit all-weather straight mile in the world!
Highlights of our racing calendar include the Eider Chase, the historic Northumberland Plate Festival, the All Weather Championship Finals on Good Friday and the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle.
