We know planning your outfit is often part of the overall horse racing experience, especially if it’s a big day out with family and friends!
Here at Newcastle Racecourse, our dress code depends on the fixture and whether you have booked one of our hospitality packages.
On feature days, when our Premier Enclosure is open, we operate a smart casual dress code, with no sportswear or football shirts permitted.
There is no dress code for children across either enclosures or in hospitality.
Fancy dress is allowed in the Grandstand, providing it does not cause offence to other guests.
When only one enclosure is open, we do not have a dress code in place, although we do always recommend dressing for the weather on the day, especially if you’re joining us for one of our All-Weather fixtures.
On our feature days, such as Ladies Day, getting dressed-up is a huge part of the fun and we offer prizes for our ‘best-dressed’ guests.
Smart casual dress code, with no sportswear, football shirts or fancy dress permitted. Smart trainers and denim jeans are allowed, however we ask that they have no rips or tears.
The same dress code applies as a usual day, however, on our summer feature days we encourage dressing to impress - fascinators, hats and a three piece suit are always well received!
No dress code. This is the only enclosure where fancy dress is permitted.
