Eider Chase

The Eider Chase At Newcastle Races
Established in 1952, the Eider Chase takes place in February each year at Newcastle Racecourse. The National Hunt race features 26 fences over 4 miles and half a furlong, and is considered a trial for the Grand National.

The historic showpiece, and the competitive jumps card that complements the race, is sponsored by Vertem.
