Visitors

As this event is expected to draw a large crowd, we recommend allowing extra travel time. Consider carpooling, using public transportation, or walking if possible. Parking at the racecourse is free, but please arrive early to secure a spot. If you require accessible parking, please inform the car parking stewards upon arrival.

After the fireworks, the funfair, bars, and food outlets will remain open until 9:30pm, allowing you to enjoy the festivities a little longer and avoid traffic congestion.

Please be aware that as this is also a race meeting, the fireworks will NOT begin until all horses have fully left the premises. All timings of fireworks are approximate due to how long this may take. For safety reasons, sparklers are not allowed on the premises. Entering the style awards is simple, we have our scouts from Tyne Tees Models Management. They will be onsite in every enclosure. If you don’t see them then make sure you head to the Tyne Tees Models stand located in the Grandstand Hall when you arrive to have your picture taken. The judging will take place with the Top 10 finalists being contacted directly before the award giving. They will then be invited into the Parade Ring for the final judging to take place and the overall 2024 Style Competition winner to be announced.
