Looking for something to do with the family over Easter weekend? Get everyone together and head to Gosforth Park for an afternoon at the races.
There’ll be plenty happening for younger racegoers alongside the action on the track, giving the whole family a reason to get out and enjoy Good Friday together.
We’ve got lots of family entertainment planned throughout the afternoon, with activities for children of different ages.
More information on entertainment to be announced. Keep an eye out for more details as we reveal what’s coming to Newcastle this Good Friday.
Best of all, kids aged 17 and under go FREE!
There’s plenty for racing fans to enjoy too. Newcastle’s all-weather track will provide an afternoon of flat racing, bringing plenty of speed and action to your Easter weekend.
Get close to the horses in the parade ring, find a spot by the rail and feel the pace as they charge past. When they turn for home, join the noise around the finishing line before catching the celebrations in the winner’s enclosure.
Whether you follow the racing or you’re simply looking for somewhere to take the kids, Good Friday at Newcastle is made for spending time together.
Enjoy the racing, grab something to eat and drink and let the kids get stuck into the entertainment. With children going free, it’s an easy way to get the family together over the Easter weekend.
Good Friday falls in March this year, with spring underway and the days getting longer. Swap a day at home for an afternoon at Gosforth Park and enjoy the racing and family fun in the fresh air.
