Get the family together for one of Newcastle’s big November nights out. Fireworks Racenight brings together floodlit flat racing, funfair rides, free kids’ entertainment and a fireworks finale, with plenty to keep everyone busy throughout the evening.
There’s plenty happening away from the track for younger racegoers. Enjoy free kids’ entertainment around the racecourse, plus funfair rides for those who fancy a go (chargeable).
It’s an easy evening to enjoy together. Wrap up warm, grab some food and a drink and explore what’s happening around the racecourse before looking to the sky for the fireworks finale.
Under 18s go FREE!!
There’s plenty of action on the track before the fireworks begin. Head to the parade ring to see the horses up close, then find a spot by the rail and hear the hooves as they charge past under the floodlights.
Newcastle’s all-weather track keeps the flat racing going into November, whatever the autumn skies bring. Once the racing and family entertainment are done, look up as the fireworks bring the evening to a colourful close.
