The most glamorous race day of the flat season combines an exciting day of fashion, fillies, fizz and live music after racing.

It doesn't matter if you're new to watching live horse racing or if you've been to many horse racing fixtures before. You can't beat the atmosphere of the races. Feeling the ground shake as your horse thunders down the home straight, and everyone cheers. You can't beat horse racing in July!
Ladies Day isn't just racing action and fashion fun. We also add in helpings of exciting entertainment, and delicious food and drink.
Enjoy glasses of summer Pimm's, sparkling prosecco and of course glasses of smooth Champagne. To tempt your taste buds, there'll be a variety of delicious summer food available.
We still need to confirm our entertainment for 2024, but it has previously featured award-winning artists and DJ's. Meaning you can dance your way into the night.
Ladies Day has long had a tradition of being the most fashionable day of the season. Thousands of racegoers all donning their favourite outfits and accessories to make for a very stylish event. Whilst dressing up isn’t necessary, many racegoers on Ladies Day enjoy dressing up.

Your favourite threads could also win you some big prizes. The Style Awards is open to all in attendance, and offers all manners of prizes for those in the top positions. Hotly contested, it certainly pays to impress the judges.
Entering the style awards is simple, we have our scouts from Tyne Tees Models Management. They will be onsite in every enclosure. If you don’t see them then make sure you head to the Tyne Tees Models stand located in the Grandstand Hall when you arrive to have your picture taken.
The judging will take place and he Top 10 finalists will be contacted directly prior to the award giving. Where you will be invited into the Parade Ring for the final judging to take place and overall 2024 Style Competition winner will be announced.

Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
