Keep the New Year celebrations going with New Year's Day racing 2027 at Newcastle Racecourse. Round up your friends and family, wrap up warm and spend the afternoon enjoying all-weather racing up close.
There’s no need for the celebrations to end at midnight. Get together for a winter afternoon at the races, with the sound of hooves down the home straight and the chance to watch the horses up close in the parade ring.
Newcastle is made for stand-out days and New Year's Day is a great excuse to keep the festive get-togethers going. Grab a drink, find your spot by the rail and cheer them home as the action unfolds in front of you.
Wrap up warm and head trackside for horse racing in January. Our all-weather track means the racing continues through the winter, giving you a sporting start to 2027 and another chance to get everyone together before the festive break comes to an end.
