Celebrate one of the biggest days in the racing calendar at Newcastle Racecourse. Enjoy live jump racing at Gosforth Park before following the Grand National action from Aintree on our big screens.
Get your friends and family together for an afternoon built around racing. There’ll be jump racing live on the turf here at Newcastle, plus the chance to follow the action from Aintree on the big screens.
Pick your Grand National fancy, settle in with your group and enjoy one of racing’s biggest Saturdays with us.
There’ll be more to enjoy away from the track too, with entertainment planned as part of our Grand National Party Day. We’ll share more details as soon as they’re confirmed.
Before attention turns to the big race at Aintree, there’s live jump racing to enjoy right in front of you at Newcastle.
Head to the parade ring to see the horses up close, then find a spot by the rail and feel the pace as they thunder past and take on the fences and hurdles. Get behind your pick as they head for the finishing line, then catch the celebrations around the winner’s enclosure.
Grand National Day is a good excuse to get the group together. Whether you follow racing all year round or only pick a horse for the National, come along and enjoy the afternoon with us.
With racing here at Newcastle and the big event from Aintree to follow, there’s plenty to keep everyone involved.
