Friday night plans? Sorted. Get your mates together and head to Newcastle Racecourse on Friday 30 April for an evening of all-weather flat racing, with INVADES bringing the student race night atmosphere to Gosforth Park.
This isn’t your usual Friday night. INVADES Student Race Night is coming to Newcastle, bringing students together for an evening at the races before the weekend gets properly underway.
Expect live racing and plenty of atmosphere! Get the group chat moving, round up your mates and make a night of it.
There’s no better feeling than finishing the week with plans already sorted. Grab a drink, find your spot and enjoy the build-up as the horses head onto the track.
Whether you’re here with your uni mates, work crowd or friends, it’s an easy way to start the weekend together.
There’s plenty happening on the track too. Newcastle’s all-weather course brings the speed of flat racing right in front of you.
Head to the parade ring to see the horses up close before they race, then make your way to the rail. Hear the hooves as they charge past and join the noise around the finishing line as they race for home.
Afterwards, head towards the winner’s enclosure to catch the celebrations.
By the end of April, the evenings are getting longer and there’s even more reason to get out after work or uni.
You don’t need to know everything about racing to get involved. Pick your fancy, cheer them home and enjoy a Friday evening with your mates at Newcastle Racecourse.
