Saturday Floodlit Flat Racing

Saturday Floodlit Racing at Newcastle Racecourse 2027

Make your Saturday a little different with floodlit horse racing in September at Newcastle Racecourse. Get your friends and family together for all-weather flat racing, with plenty of action to enjoy as the floodlights light up the track.

Race into the weekend

Get your favourite people together and spend your Saturday at the races. Grab some food and a drink, find your spot and enjoy live flat racing as Newcastle's floodlights shine across the course.

Head to the parade ring to see the horses up close before making your way towards the rail. Hear the hooves thundering past as the horses charge down the home straight, with the noise building as they approach the finishing line. It's even better when you're close enough to feel the speed.

September under the floodlights

As autumn arrives, September is a great time to wrap up and enjoy some live racing. Newcastle's all-weather track keeps the flat racing going throughout the year, whatever the weather brings.

Watch from trackside or take in the view from the Grandstand as the action unfolds under the lights. You don't need to know everything about racing to enjoy it. Bring your mates, pick a horse to cheer on and enjoy a Saturday at Gosforth Park.

Book your tickets

Get your tickets booked online ahead of raceday to save on admission, or simply purchase them at the gate when you arrive.
