Saturday night calls for something different. Get your group together and head to Newcastle Racecourse for an October evening of all-weather flat racing, with the action continuing under the floodlights as darkness falls.
Make racing part of your Saturday plans and enjoy a night of live sport with friends or family. Grab some food and a drink, head out towards the track and find a good spot before the action gets underway.
Take a look around the parade ring and see the horses up close, then make your way to the rail. There’s a real rush when you hear the hooves getting closer before the horses fly past, with the crowd getting louder as they head for the finishing line.
As the evening gets darker, the floodlights take over and keep the track at the centre of the action.
Autumn is well underway, so wrap up warm and settle in for a Saturday evening at Newcastle. You can watch from the Grandstand or get down by the rail when you want to be closer to the racing.
Our all-weather track keeps the flat racing going throughout the year, making an October racenight a good excuse to round everyone up and do something different with your weekend.
