One of Newcastle’s biggest jump racing days is back. Join us this Saturday for the Fighting Fifth Hurdle and an afternoon where top-class racing takes centre stage, bringing racegoers together for a major fixture in the November calendar.
The Fighting Fifth Hurdle is a highlight of the jumps season at Newcastle Racecourse. There’s a real sense of anticipation as the horses head out onto the turf and the crowd gets ready for one of the day’s biggest moments.
Get close to the horses before racing in the parade ring, then find your spot to watch them tackle the hurdles. From the sound of hooves on the turf to the reaction from the stands as they race towards the line, this is a Saturday made for experiencing jump racing up close.
