Break up your week with an evening of horse racing in September at Newcastle Racecourse. Join us this Thursday for all-weather flat racing, some fresh autumn air and a chance to swap your usual evening routine for live sport trackside.
September brings a change of season to Newcastle, but the racing keeps going. Get your friends or colleagues together, grab a drink and enjoy a midweek evening at the course.
Head to the parade ring to see the horses up close before finding a spot by the rail. When they come charging past, you'll hear the hooves thundering down the track and the crowd cheering as the horses race towards the finishing line.
With flat racing on Newcastle's all-weather track, there's plenty of speed and action to enjoy throughout the evening.
The cooler evenings of early autumn make September a great time to wrap up and head out for some live racing. Follow the action from trackside, catch up with friends between races and enjoy food and drink around the racecourse.
You don't need to be a regular racegoer to enjoy a Thursday evening at Newcastle. Bring your mates, pick a horse to cheer on and enjoy a few hours away from the usual weekday routine.
