Break up the working week with horse racing in January at Newcastle Racecourse. Bring your friends or family along for a Tuesday afternoon of all-weather flat racing and enjoy the action from right by the track.
Tuesday doesn’t have to be all work and no play. Swap the usual afternoon routine for a few hours at the races, with the chance to see the horses up close in the parade ring before finding your spot for the racing.
Once they’re off, listen as the sound of hooves gets louder on the run towards the finish. You can get close to the action at Newcastle, so when the horses thunder past, you’ll know about it.
Our all-weather track keeps the racing going throughout the seasons. Flat racing brings plenty of pace to a January afternoon, with the action unfolding right in front of you.
Wrap up warm, get a hot drink in your hands and spend a crisp winter afternoon trackside with us.
