December racing continues at Newcastle with an evening of all-weather flat action. Step away from the busy festive season for a few hours, bring some friends or family and enjoy live racing on a crisp winter evening.
There’s plenty to see before the horses even reach the starting point. Head to the parade ring for a closer look, then choose your spot around the course as attention turns to the track.
Flat racing moves quickly. From trackside, you can hear the hooves approaching and feel the noise build as the field races towards the finish. Under the floodlights, it’s a great way to experience the sport at close quarters.
Wrap up warm, grab some food and a drink and settle in for an evening away from the usual December plans. You can follow the racing from the Grandstand or head closer to the track when you want to be nearer the action.
Our all-weather track keeps flat racing going through the colder months, giving you another reason to get out and enjoy horse racing in December.
