William Hill Northumberland Plate Day is the day to be in Newcastle, not only for phenomenal racing, but to enjoy a fantastic live DJ set from British dance DJ, Judge Jules and his 10-piece orchestra once the quality racing has finished.
It is a sunny June weekend in Newcastle and youre looking for something to do. Of all the things on your list the William Hill Northumberland Plate Festival should be at the top, but especially the thrilling final day - the William Hill Northumberland Plate Day. The most famous race meeting of the year at Newcastle, featuring the William Hill Northumberland Plate, a two-mile heritage handicap worth £150,000, as well as the Chipchase Stakes, a Group 3, six-furlong sprint.
We are delighted to announce that racing with be followed by an electric performance from Judge Jules and his ten-piece band! As if that wasnt enough, there will also be an opening DJ set from HOWARD DONALD, talk about value for money!
One of the scenes most best-known names for more than three decades, Judge Jules has never shied away from pushing the boundaries in dance music. Each track has been bespoke reinvented and reworked in a style unique to this live show, featuring a full ten-piece band, with brass, percussion, drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keyboard, singers, and of course Judge Jules himself.
Combining the energy of specially-chosen outstanding musicians with his own inimitable presence behind the decks, Jules will take the audience on a tailor-made journey through dance music with vocals, hands-in-the-air moments and basslines thatll take you back in time.

Free shuttle buses will be running as follows for this event; multiple buses in loop (Regent Centre Metro Station - Four Lane Ends Metro Station - Racecourse) from 90mins before racing till the first race, and then again after racing.

Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). You’ll need to select a child ticket when making your booking.
