As excitement builds for this week’s racing event, Newcastle Racecourse is preparing for our highly anticipated Ladies Day. This year’s event promises an even more exceptional blend of thrilling horse racing and luxury hospitality, all celebrated against a backdrop of the region's finest fashion

Free Shuttle Bus Information
- 10:00 – 14:00: Shuttle Buses will run on a loop from Four Lane Ends and Regent Centre Metro Station, dropping off at Newcastle Racecourse, Gosforth Park.
- 16:30 – 21:00: Departure shuttle buses will be outside GOALS onsite, running on a loop to Jalou in the city centre NE1 5DH

Additional Travel Tips: Getting to Newcastle Racecourse
- By Road: Conveniently located in the North East of England, follow brown and white tourist board signs bearing a horse and rider from the A1, A19, and main approach roads to Newcastle. A taxi from Newcastle City Centre or Newcastle Central Station will cost approximately £10. For traffic updates in the nearby area, please click here.
- By Bus: The bus services are relentless seven days a week. The X15, X22, X21, X11, 43, and 44 services all run from Haymarket bus station, and the X18 from Eldon Square bus station.
- Haymarket Bus Station: Numbers 43 and 44 leave from here every few minutes and arrive at a stop just outside the racecourse road entrance.
- By Taxi: We recommend using a local company like LA Taxis or Blueline for your travel needs. Book in advance for both drop-off and pick-up.

- By Rail: Newcastle Central Station is the nearest mainline station, approximately 15 minutes and £10 by taxi to the racecourse. Alternatively, Regent Centre and Four Lane Ends Metro Stations are situated 2 miles from the racecourse, with a shuttle bus operating on Saturday fixtures only.
There will be no right turn at the end of the Gosforth driveway to encourage the continuous movement of traffic, cars can use the turning points and roundabouts on Great North Road to return towards to A1.
Style Awards | How To Enter:
- TTM Scout the crowd: 11am – 2pm
- Judging in the Office for Top 10: 2pm – 2.45pm
Top 10 finalists in Parade Ring: 3.30pm
Entering the style awards is simple, we have our scouts from Tyne Tees Models Management. They will be onsite in every enclosure. If you don’t see them, then head to the Tyne Tees Models stand in the Grandstand Hall when you arrive to have your picture taken.
The judging will take place with the Top 10 finalists being contacted directly prior to the award giving. They will then be invited into the Parade Ring for the final judging to take place and the overall 2025 Style Competition winner to be announced.

Bongo’s Bingo Party Live After Racing
The 90-minute Bongo’s DJ set will start approximately 30 minutes after racing.
THE OFFICIAL AFTER PARTY
Continue the party long into the night at Jalou for the Official After Party. There will be FREE shuttle buses running to the city centre where you will dropped off outside of Jalou, just steps from central station and the iconic Diamond Strip. Jalou is Newcastle’s go-to latenight bar. Known for their signature cocktails, top DJ’s, and unbeatable vibes, Jalou brings the best in old-school and modern Hip Hop, Dancehall and R&B – all night long.
